Opening the “Illustrating Climatic Change” Tour in Galicia

Illustrating Change: When Infographic Becomes a Classroom Tool

How cool is this!!! As a designer, you often hope your work reaches the right audience, but there is nothing more gratifying than seeing it become a truly useful resource for the next generation. I am thrilled to share that my infographic is part of the “ILUSTRANDO O CAMBIO CLIMÁTICO” exhibition, which is currently touring public schools throughout the province of Galicia, Spain.

Seeing my designs move from the digital workspace into primary and secondary classrooms is incredibly rewarding. It’s a reminder of why I do what I do: transforming complex, vital information into something accessible, welcome, and educational.

About the Exhibition

Organized by the IEM (Instituto de Estudos Miñoráns) in collaboration with CSIC and Ilustraciencia, this initiative is designed to help students of all ages navigate the complexities of climate change. The exhibition has just begun its journey and will be hosted at a different school every week until the end of the school year.

Currently, the exhibition is on display at the Colegio Público Souto Donas in Gondomar. Watching students engage with these visuals to understand how climate change affects us across so many dimensions makes all the hours of research and design completely worth it.

There is a unique kind of joy in knowing that your work isn't just "finished" it's out there, being put to work and making a difference.
